DAZN partners with YouTube for official broadcasting of UEFA Women’s Champion League

With numerous advancements in women’s sports, here comes one more after DAZN announced that it has grabbed exclusive rights to stream the UEFA Champions League. It secured global streaming rights and broadcaster responsibilities till 2025.

With this groundbreaking partnership with DAZN and YouTube, it will be the first time in history that UEFA Women’s champion league has an official partner. The agreement is one of the largest deals in women’s club sports. As per the contract, 61 matches will be available for free on the DAZN YouTube channel for the first two seasons.

UEFA president Aleksander Ceferin –

“Two years ago when we launched UEFA’s first-ever women’s football strategy, ‘Time for action’, we promised action that will lead to a greater, more professional, and more prosperous game by 2024. Several initiatives have since followed and this summer is a giant leap in that direction.”

The campaign film released by DAZN entitled ‘We all rise with more eyes’ – is one of the best campaigns I have ever seen related to women’s sports and kudos to no more trying to find out where to watch these games.
